Slagskygge: Filthy hands
“Filthy Hands” is the new EP by Slagskygge, and the first after the “HEAT”-cycle that ended with 2019’s Smelting.
On these six tracks Slagskygge returns to a more traditional industrial sound, complete with dystopian soundscapes, destructive beats and in-your-face production. The machines are not happy, and neither is Hansen, the man behind the machines. These last years has been messy, unfulfilling and stupid. Slagskygge responds in kind with violence, aggression and a catchy melody.
Everything is done by Hansen, except on Martian Twocker, where Henning Wibrands lends voice, lyrics and topliner to a new angle on the Slagskygge sound.
This EP is rather more actionpacked and energetic than some of Slagskygge’s inward facing drones, and may appeal to fans of classic Ant-Zen records.
